December 6 Senate Runoff Information The Elections Office is preparing for the December 6, 2022 General Election Runoff for US Senate. This article will provide very important information about the Runoff, absentee ballots, and Early Voting. If you registered to vote or submitted a change of name or address on or before November 7, 2022, your information will be updated by the Elections Office, and you will be eligible to vote in the Runoff. If you are not sure of your registration status, you may visit the Secretary of State’s MY Voter Page at Absentee ballot applications for the Runoff are being accepted at this time. If you received a ballot for the General Election AND are over the age of 65 or disabled, you will automatically be sent a ballot for the Runoff. The Elections Office will mail these out as soon as they are available. If you do not qualify for the absentee rollover list, you must submit another absentee ballot request to receive a ballot for the Runoff. Early Voting will be held November 28 until December 2. THERE WILL BE NO SATURDAY VOTING. The hours will be 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM and will take place in the Elections Office at the Courthouse. If you cannot Early Vote, the precincts will be open for Election Day December 6, 2022 from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. If you cannot vote during those periods, please make arrangements to apply for an absentee ballot now. THE LAST DAY YOU MAY APPLY FOR AN ABSENTEE BALLOT BY MAIL IS NOVEMBER 28, 2022.
